CloudPush receives push notifications that your own backend sends, and keeps a history of them on your phone. This policy explains what the app does with data. It is short because the app does very little.
Nothing is collected by the developer. CloudPush has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, and no tracking SDKs. The developer operates no server for this app and receives no data from it.
All of it lives in a database private to the app on your phone. It is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also clear the history at any time from the menu on the main screen, and remove any subscription from the Subscriptions screen.
Delivery uses Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). To route a message to your phone, FCM issues the app a device registration token and holds it on Google's servers. This token is what makes push delivery work; it is not sent to the developer. Your subscriptions are held by FCM as topic memberships. Google's handling of this data is covered by the Firebase privacy documentation and the Google Privacy Policy.
The messages themselves come from the backend you configure and send from. CloudPush is the receiver. What that backend collects, logs, or transmits is outside this app and outside this policy.
INTERNET — to keep the push connection open.POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to show a notification when a message arrives. If you
deny it, messages still arrive and appear in the in-app history, silently.CloudPush is a developer utility. It is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the revised version is published at this address with a new effective date.
